Let me share with you some of my experiences of moving to Ireland.

Hotel
The whole move is organised by the company I am working for, which is in fact very nice and makes the whole move a lot easier - or so you would think. Right now we are living in a hotel apartment which is in the city centre and doesn't make me very happy.

As we are taking all of our belongings with us, including plants, I originally wanted that some of them got delivered here. I had to revise that idea very quickly as I found that I cannot put them anywhere. Before we came we checked with the hotel management on the availability of a balcony or terrace and were told this wouldn't be a problem. OK, we do have a place with terrace but the door to it can't be opened as the key to it is missing. I am impressed! (more…)
