Rock, plants, and motorways.

The following day we felt adventurous and started walking up the road we could see from the hotel, looking back at it and admiring the sea in the sunshine.

... but that's not the right way!
 

In the end we gave up as there were just too many ridges to go walk around
and the steepness of the roads didn't help in 30C.
