Copenhagen, Denmark

[or 'a study of towers']

We had a 5 hour lay-over in Copenhagen on our way to Stockholm, so we decided
to take a taxi into town and have a look around. It was definitely worth it,
I was especially amazed by the amount of beautiful towers I got to see!

The taxi driver took us
straight to the centre.
To left you have the city hall,
below is a building that nowadays
is a hotel.

Walking around the pedestrian area
we came across the unusual tower you see below.

It didn't take us long to figure out that you could enter it for a small fee.
We were very surprised to find that there were no stairs at all, only a walkway
which lead almost all the way up.

Just before going up to the roof
on a set of narrow stairs, we found
this poster, showing that the tower
was built as an observatory.

From the roof we had a great view
all over the city.
